Meet Maureen Cool 

Maureen Cool who has been a consistent Top Producer in real estate has called Highlands County home for the past 16 years enjoying all the natural beauty and a relaxed lifestyle her special part of the world has to offer; bass fishing on Lake Istokpoga, water skiing on beautiful crystal clear lakes, hiking and camping in Highlands Hammock State Park, biking around Lake Jackson’s continuous ten mile sidewalk, and canoeing down Arbuckle Creek. Every third weekend in March, Maureen and her family enjoy the 12-Hours of Sebring Car Races from their "Cool" spot on the hairpin turn. She lives Avon Park over looking PineCrest Golf Course, one of the oldest Donald Ross designed courses with her husband Carl and their six-year-old son Danny. She and her family are very active in the community and believe in giving back to where they live. Carl is the County Administrator for Highlands County and her son just started his school career in the Highlands County School System. 

Maureen Cool has been a Realtor since 1995 and a business professional for more than 26 years. She graduated in 1978 from the University of Tampa, with majors in Business Management and Accounting. Her background as a former accountant and mortgage loan officer has been invaluable to her in her real estate career. This experience taught Maureen that writing an offer for a home or piece of property in not enough. A good Realtor needs to be a professional, with full knowledge of financing, customer service, marketing, and the community where she lives.
